~ what are they up to...

These guys pulled up this morning at about 8:30 a.m. There were three trucks with digging machines sitting on trailers -- and they parked on the street so that they were surrounding our yard.  The signs on all three trucks are a local landscaper -- so I almost had a heart attack thinking they were going to start digging in the conservation area.  But, instead they are over there -- in front of our neighbors' houses working on the street -- ruining this morning's quiet time.  After last night's thunderstorms I could use some quiet.  Sigh....

This project was not on our summer to-do list, so I won't be posting photos until late September.  I just wanted to share some fun news! Thank you home improvement gods! :-)

~ temperature 86 degrees farenheit (felt like 98 degrees farenheit), humidity 79% (dewpoint 78 degrees), winds southwest at 9mph --HOT!

This was our outdoor thermometer reading this morning at 8:16 a.m.  The sun was directly on our thermometer at that time.  During the rest of the day, the temperatures were in the upper 90's.
