The inside view of our front door...

I need to put up a wreath on the outside of the front door -- but I got a bit sidetracked by the green...

So, yesterday, while the troops were off at school/work, I took a trip to Lowes and Home Depot -- to look at paint chips. I really didn't find too much that I loved in the greens that I would consider for the front door. The white and cream paint chips in the photo are for the outside front bay window area -- another project to be blogged at a future date. Anyhow, while I was holding the individual green chips up to the front door, I realized...

...the storm door is RED! And, even though we purchased this Pella brand storm door for less than it costs to fill up the gas tank -- I am not replacing it -- because as Murphy's law states: "if it's not broken...don't fix it".
So, guess I'll need to take another trip back to Lowes and Home Depot... to add a few more specimens ( in red ) to my huge collection of paint chips... I think I saw some that were fancy die cut... need to get those... :-)
