big medicine day...
For those of you who are confused about yesterday's "cross your fingers" post -- I will explain:
Tahu is suffering from a neurological disease -- the disease is controllable, but at this time not curable. So far the medicines that have been tried are not working as effectively as necessary. Today, Tahu will begin chemo therapy. This is heavy duty stuff. Maybe you can help us along by crossing your fingers that it works for him -- and a little prayer would help too...

weekend project...
During the colder months, I looked out the window, imagining how the backyard would look once it was completed. There's really not much left to do -- a bit of patio, a fence enclosure for the pool filter, some plants, some patio furniture -- and some refurbishing of the back steps...

...a handicap access ramp was not in my vision. Now, all I need is the handicap dog who needs to use it. He was extremely lethargic most of the day yesterday -- so we took him back to the animal hospital (again) last night. Since he is taking alot of prescription medicine, his extreme lethargy is not something to ignore.
We are waiting for an update from the doctor this morning.

hippity hoppity...
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. This is not because of a lack of things going on -- it is quite the opposite here. I don't like to do a post without a picture, and there has been no time in my daily schedule for the camera. The easter bunny is just sliding through here this year and then we're super busy with Sofia's first communion preparations. We don't have a final head count yet for the small family gathering we have planned for her special day -- and I know you're all busy too -- but we need your r.s.v.p. or you'll be left out of the fun.
I just want to note that in the photo, the "happy easter" eggs on the mantle were hand painted by our talented Grandpa Bob. :-) You can click on the photo if you want to see them close up.
Happy egg hunting!
