vintage photo Saturday...
Easter 1968...
Photo of some lovely ladies wearing their holiday best. From left to right: My grandmother, Aunt Ida, Nonna, and, Mother. Small boy in background is my Uncle Charlie. Nonna is wearing a casual sweater over her favorite holiday dress because she was the holiday hostess -- and busy cooking -- and they probably had to practically carry her out of the house to be in the photo. They are standing in front of Nonna's house. She was quite independent and lived there, on her own, well into her 90's!

I think I'm getting the hang of vintage photo Saturday! Any with the 4th generation of lovely ladies in the same pic? I initially wondered who the boy is... I could tell its uncle Charlie from his ears! Just say in'.

ha...ha...ha..."from his ears"... I'll dig and see what I can find for you. But -- I never know which photo I am going to post -- the photo usually corresponds to my "m-o-o-d" at the end of the week...hee...hee...
DeleteOnly you, KF, would notice the "boy with the ears" in the background. I noticed the boy, not "the boy with the ears". That is you alright!!!

ha...ha...ha...I kinda like that KF pointed out "the ears". I forgot that Uncle Charlie went through the "Alfafa" lookalike phase for awhile...
DeleteGood to hear from you TAM :-)
Yup, that is who he looked like alfalfa in the pic. Wasn't making fun, just thought it was funny!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your plant.
